South Sound Parent to Parent: Champions of Courage Annual Fundraiser

South Sound Parent to Parent (SSP2P) is the connection for families caring for loved ones with special needs in Thurston, Mason and Grays Harbor counties. SSP2P pledges’ all families caring for someone with special needs will receive the support and resources they need to feel empowered, supported and encouraged. These families experience unique joys and challenges associated with raising a child with special needs. It takes courage to seek support. It takes courage to recognize differences. It takes courage to move forward. Champions of Courage is a uniquely family friendly fundraising event held at the Hands on Children's Museum. The event includes a live and silent auction, catered appetizers, wine and grub grab, face painting and all museum exhibits open for everyone to enjoy. All proceeds fund the Helping Parent program. Please join us on Saturday, February 23rd from 6:30 to 9:30. Admission tickets are $15/adult, children are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door the evening of the event or in advance on the website: www.ssp2p.org starting in January.
