Agnes Obel


With influences that range from Roy Orbison to Debussy and Ravel, classical/folk artist Agnes Obel took her native Denmark by storm when she released her debut album, "Philharmonics," in 2010. Dawes is a four-piece rock band with some Americana and soul influences. The California rockers have topped Billboard charts with a fresh, yet vintage sound. Their 2016 album, "We’re All Gonna Die," was was produced by Grammy nominee Blake Mills. Car Seat Headrest


Car Seat Headrest is Will Toledo, who as a teenager in Virginia started recording his own music on a laptop in his family's car. He uploaded a bunch of his pop songs to Bandcamp in 2010. They didn't go anywhere, but as he experimented with electronic insertions and distortions, his self-produced albums attracted the notice of a pop music critic for The New Yorker magazine, who described Toledo as an "oldies-obsessed pop prodigy perfecting his Beatles and Beach Boys melodies, mostly playing all the instruments himself." Now a fully fledged adult, Toledo has a band and has released an album's worth of material under the Matador label, "Teens of Style." His first studio album, "Teens of Denial," was released in 2016.

Public Image Ltd.


John Lydon returns with Public Image Ltd., his post-Sex Pistols project which reunited in December 2009 for a string of U.K. dates. Along with an April appearance at Coachella, this tour will be the band’s first stateside appearance in nearly 18 years. PiL took a far more experimental take on the snotty, aggressive rock of Lydon's earlier days, releasing eight studio album and a number of EP's and live recordings. The group also features Lu Edmonds, Bruce Smith and Scott Firth.

Cat Power


Matador recording artist Cat Power, a.k.a. Chan Marshall, has won critical acclaim for her unsettling, emotional songwriting. The Georgia native released her debut, 'What Would the Community Think?,' in 1996 with "Moon Pix" following in 1998. Her latest album is the 2012 release "Sun," which was a pop album of electronic music. It was not only her first batch of fully original material in over six years, it also featured Marshall writing, playing, recording and producing the album all by herself.
