Rise Against

Chicago's Rise Against features former members of the late great 88 Fingers Louie. This four-piece punk unit, led by lead vocalist Tim McIlrath, plays a punchy brand of melodic hardcore heavily influenced by bands like Bad Religion, Minor Threat and Bad Brains. Since forming in late 1999, the band has found a surprising level of mainstream success over multiple studio albums, including their newest, "The Black Market," but is perhaps best known for their tireless activism efforts, including work with Amnesty International, the It Gets Better Project and more.

Arctic Monkeys

With a love of The Smiths, The Clash, The Jam, Oasis, System Of A Down and Queens Of The Stone Age, Sheffield's Arctic Monkeys embelish the spirit of those sounds without regurgitating the well-trodden Brit-rock path. On top of that the members spent their school days listening to Roots Manuva, Braintax and other stuff on Low-Life among other things. Arctic Monkeys released their first full-length, 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not,' in 2006.

Malcolm “Mac Miller” McCormick is a rising star in the hip hop community and rapidly becoming a household name. At 19, this MC had gone from a local sensation to selling out venues across the United States. A multi-talented musician with a distinct Golden Era delivery, a great ear for instrumentals, and a positive message, Mac has been focused on paving his own path in music. Musically gifted, Mac had taught himself to play piano, drums, guitar and bass by the age of six. Influenced by artists such as Big L, Lauryn Hill, The Beastie Boys, Outkast, and A Tribe Called Quest, he began cultivating his own art of rhyme and started to develop a reputation for delivering jaw-dropping freestyles in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA.
