Louis Ledford with Kristin Allen Zito

Folk, indie

Ledford - writes like he’s thrown his sack onto a fair number passenger cars. His land is the “Old Weird America” Griel Marcus wrote so emotively about. Ledford stories seldom end with a hero on the proverbial mountaintop. His narratives are typically told by the losers, those close to the edge, in the grandest sense. Kristin Allen-Zito - is songwriter from Bellingham, WA, well known for being the lead singer of the electro-punk band The Trucks. However she is also a solo artist whose songs are rooted in the folk idiom, strongly influenced by pop and indie-rock.

Baby Gramps (Rags, jazz … throat singing) & Hot Damn Scandal (Tipsy American Gypsy Blues)

Blues, Jazz, Folk

Baby Gramps is a high energy humorously entertaining performer with an endless repertoire. He plays acoustic antique resonator National Steel guitars, and sings his own unique arrangements of rags, jazz, & blues songs from the 20’s & 30’s, folksongs, and many originals with wordplay, humor, and throat singing. Hot Damn Scandal finds its songs under park benches and in forgotten alleyways. The resulting outlaw ballads, dirty jazz, circus freakouts, shanty-rags, string band funk, lonesome heart-breakers, and whiskey bottle love songs blend together in a sweet song syrup somewhere between a ramble and a roar.
