Donít miss the next Friends of the Lacey Library Book Sale on Saturday, June 1st, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm in the Lacey Timberland Library Meeting Room. 500 College Ave SE, Lacey, WA. Drop in early for first pick of hundreds of dvdís and vhs tapes, as well as mystery & suspense books in excellent condition. And the Friends have a large selection of sheet music from show tunes to classical. Members Presale on Friday, May 31 from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Memberships available at the door. $5/year.

A Universe of Stories with Native Northwest Storyteller Johnny Moses


Johnny will share stories for all ages from his multi-tribal ancestry, which includes the Nuu-chah-nulth, Cowichan, Saanich, Chehalis, Duwamish, Snohomish, and Spokane people. Johnny is a published author, musician, cultural conservator and speaker who is fluent in eight Native languages. For over 30 years, Johnny has served as a traveling ambassador for Northwest Coast cultures. This event is part of the Summer Library Program, a Timberland Regional Library district-wide program.
