The Western Washington 2019 Winter Cluster -- 3 Separate American Kennel Club Dog Shows and More will be held January 12, 13, and 14 at the Washington State Fairgrounds in Puyallup, WA. The Western Washington Dog Show Cluster -- three separate all-breed American Kennel Club (AKC) dog shows will be held January 12, 13, and 14th at the Washington State Fair Events Center, 110 9th Avenue SW, Puyallup, Washington. Saturday January 12 begins with the Gig Harbor Kennel Club show, followed by the Tacoma Kennel Club show on Sunday January 13th, and then on Monday January 14th with the Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers show. Over 2058 dogs are entered each of the three days this year, representing over 166 breeds recognized by the AKC. All will converge to compete in one or more of the following events on each of the three days, including: three AKC All Breed Conformation Shows, Obedience trials, Junior Showmanship and Rally. In addition, 13 separate AKC breed-specific clubs will be holding their own specialties in association with the cluster. Together, the clubs represent events exclusively for the following breeds: Friday January 11th, All Terriers, Scottish terriers, Poodles, Old English Sheep dogs, and Australian Shepherds. Back by popular demand and sure to please puppy-loving spectators is the AKC Sanctioned Four and Under Six Months PUPPY Competition scheduled on Saturday. On Monday at noon break is special attraction event Pee Wee Handling, geared towards children 5-9 years old. Events and details of judging schedules, by breed, are available in the Official Show Catalogue available on site. In addition, Club members on the grounds will be available to help answer questions spectators may have regarding judging times and ring locations. The shows are open from 8AM to 5PM. Judging starts at 8:30AM each day. Admission is free. Parking is available at the Fairgrounds for $5.00.
