2nd Saturday: Flames to Flora and Fauna Lecture and Work Party

Children, Gardening, Green/Environmental, Nature, Volunteer Event

Join the Center for Natural Lands Management on Saturday, December 8 at 10am for an exciting restoration and lecture event. For this monthly event, we will meet at Scatter Creek Wildlife Area's Scatter Creek Unit south parking lot. Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife restoration ecologist, Dave Hays, will speak about recovery after the 2017 Scatter Creek Wildfire. It's been a year, let's see how things have changed. After this lecture, we will be planting native plants at Scatter Creek until 3pm. Bring a lunch, sport your wet-weather gear, and prepare to have a fun day out on this beautiful prairie. Interested in our carpool? contact us at ssvolunteers@cnlm.org for a spot.
