Let your tension be carried away with the tide while moving your body through simple yet challenging poses on a stand up paddle board. This style of yoga allows you to enjoy the serenity and peacefulness of the calming water while working stability on a floating mat. The combination of yoga and stand up paddle boarding are great for building better balance, coordination, endurance, and body strength. Class will begin with a flow to warm up, move through a few challenging variations of poses, and finish with a restorative sequence that fills body and soul. If you are new to yoga or paddle boarding, all skill levels are welcome. The beginning of class will be spent going over proper paddling techniques and water safety, so be sure to arrive promptly at 3:30 to sign a waiver and be fitted with a paddle and life jacket. Parking also takes extra time. Feel free to wear yoga pants or anything else that feels comfortable to you. Shoes are not worn on the board.
