Earth-Based Spirituality Public Ritual On Autumn Equinox

Public Sabbat Ritual. Celebrating The Autumn Equinox, The Beginning of Fall, And The Seasonal Harvest. This Tacoma Earth-Based Spiritual celebration is about the harvest, the beginning of fall (in Earth's northern hemisphere) and how this Equinox divides the hours between day and night equally. Come to join the spiral dance with us while we raise Earth, spirit, and soul energy. If you are new to the spiral dance - no worries! Neysa will lead everyone through the easy "hold hands and follow" the person in front of you steps. What To Wear: Sacred robes and witchy attire welcomed but not required. Youth who are mature enough to participate and who can remain respectful of sacred space are welcome to participate if their parents are also present and celebrating also. Location: Tacoma Unitarian Universalist Association 1115 S 56th St, Tacoma, WA 98408. Directions: This is a light brown church, with dark brown trim, and it is located on the corner of 56th and L. From I-5, take the S. 56th Street exit and head east for about 16 blocks. The church will be on your left. The ceremony will be held inside the main sanctuary. Please arrive on-time by 7 p.m. for smudging and entry.
