American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Tacoma

Relay For Life is a fun and inspirational 24-hour fundraising event that brings together a community of volunteers with a common goal -- to CURE cancer. 6:00PM: Opening Ceremonies Cancer Survivors are our guests of honor at Relay For Life. Come cheer them on as they lead off our event with their victory lap. Survivor Caregiver Dinner will follow the Survivor Lap. Cancer Survivors can pre-register at www.tacomarelay.org 7:00PM: Parade of Teams/All Teams Lap 10:00PM: Luminaria Ceremony of HOPE Help us honor and remember those touched by cancer during our Luminara Ceremony and Lap. We will have a special guest speaker, followed by a silent lap lit by Luminaria bearing the names of those touched by cancer. 12AM-7AM Event is closed to the public. For the safety of our guests, only registered participants will be able to stay at the event between midnight and 7AM. At 7AM we will open the gates and welcome the public back inside for 11 hours of fun. 7AM - 5:30PM Games, activities, competitions, and more! 5:45PM FINISH THE FIGHT LAP and Closing Ceremonies We have an incredible 24 hours planned and hope you will make plans to join us.
