Jointly hosted by UW Tacoma's Institute for Global Engagement (IGE), the SIAS Division of Politics, Philosophy, and Public Affairs (PPPA) and World Affairs Council Tacoma, Global Classroom is an interactive speaker series on global issues that matter. Join our expert panel of speakers as we learn about the history of the Korean peninsula, its present political realities, the role media plays in soft power diplomatic strategy and whether North Korea's capabilities pose a serious threat to the United States. Speakers include: General Stephen Lanza (retired), Dr. Ji-Hyun Ahn, Robert J Pekkanen, PhD and Clint Work, Ph.D. candidate as moderator.
