Erik Schrody, aka Everlast, is an Irish-American rapper and singer-songwriter. He formed the group House of Pain back in 1992 and hit it big with the Grammy-nominated single, "Jump Around." As a solo artist, he's perhaps best known for his multi-platinum record, "Whitey Ford Sings the Blues," which featured the hit, "What It's Like," and for his genre-crossing mix of hip-hop and acoustic-based rock music.
